Allergic To The World ®

Because I am actually allergic to so many things and then just sensitive to many others, I decided to break the website down into different allergy blogs. I'm hoping to supply a one-stop look at what ails you and your allergies. I've been dealing and searching for answers for more than a decade. While some things are up front and easily figured out, other things are not. When is comes to coconut allergies many things are hidden in the word glycerine. When it comes to chemical allergies, many things are hidden in our very poor labeling system. We as a country do not demand nor mandate these very powerful chemical companies to properly label what is actually going into our food, medication, and products that we use to store and cook in. Most of the time you don't even know what is in your food because it is hidden behind the words "artificial flavor" and "natural flavor". Even if you're not allergic to chemicals, you might want to start paying attention.

Coconut Allergies

Coconut can pretty much be found in all of our soaps, shampoos, detergents, make up and a lot of our foods. It’s a wonder more people don’t have sensitivities to coconut with the amount that is found in our environment. Coconut allergies are not so common, but I've been hearing more and more on coconut sensitivities. A lot of times the coconut allergies start from the outside. Allergies and sensitivities beginning with the soaps, shampoos and lotions you use.

Chemical Allergies

Doctors don’t want to believe you are allergic to chemicals. Our food, water, environment, inside and out is filled with chemicals. Including many of the drugs that are prescribed and purchased over the counter. It was the last thing I was tested for. Chemical allergies even to one chemical can be a problem.

Food Sensitivities

What I didn’t realize is that food sensitivities can act just like chemical allergies. Taking anywhere from 12 to 72 hours to react and on some occasions longer. While you may not be allergic to a specific food, the sensitivity sure feels like an allergy. I personally have a three day rule. I can not eat the same thing three days in a row with out having some kind of allergic based reaction.
